I ventured to Atlanta (in the rain) with friends Friday to pick up one of my favorite friends at the airport-Shawn D! It was good "girl time" and we even spared our lives after seeing a horrible wreck on the interestate, too!
Saturday I got to see my cousin Whitney and her NEW fiance as well as her NEW pretty ring! YAY! Another wedding in the family! It's oh so fun planning these big events. They are getting married in September after they finish their fun summer job at Hershey Park!
Then... off to Knoxville (again in the rain) to hang with mom at Winterfest. It was GREAT seeing old friends and just being AT Winterfest. Good times... good times...
Sunday morning we made a fancy trip to the Waffle House and then I headed home for more friend hang out time. It was a fun weekend, and I'm already down to only 3 days left this week until spring break! WAHOO!
Few random thoughts though:
1-SOOOO sad that my Wildcats are not in the tourney-first time in 17 years. Honestly, it almost makes me sick to my stomach.
2-Found out one of my students' house burned down this past Saturday, and I'm debating on what we should do for him at school. Really makes me sad.
3-Have purchased 2 bridesmaids dresses in 72 hours. I think I have a closet of the prettiest dresses ever!

Have you ever seen that movie "27 Dresses"?? That is what I felt like all these years before I got married. At least you are a bridesmaid and not a book keeper. That is what I usually was. It's like we really didn't want you in the wedding but we felt bad so....will you keep the book for us? HA!! It was good seeing you this weekend.
