Protest

Funny little story from school today.

I am walking back to my class 4th period, after my planning, and I see about 20 kids huddled up sitting on the steps outside. The bell was going to ring in about a minute, so I knew they would all be late if they didn't get a move. I went over and said, "What's going on?" and they said, "Oh, we're protesting." I said-"Really, what?" "Protesting school."

HAHA. So... I said, "How about we protest later and head to class?" So with moans and groans they headed to class snickering, as well as hearing my snickers.

>>>>fast forward to 8th period>>>>>

Leaving my class again, I see about 200 students huddled, and I immediately thought it was a fight. Oh no... Just the "protesters" again sittin' on the steps.

Hilarious. They did this every class break, which did cause a problem because students weren't able to walk through but still--how funny are they? ha... protesting school. I should of just sat down and joined them.

That is too funny!!! If they hate school now they're in for a treat! :) It's like when we used to cry about taking naps...now if crying GOT me a nap I'd do it everyday! :)

This is hilarious. You need to keep track of all your funny teaching stories and get them published when you retire. I told mom she should do it but she's too old to remember all of them...haha!
