Let the Fun Begin!

Since my last post, I have maybe crossed 2 things off that list. Pathetic!

This is my last and final blog of my "official" summer break. I have in-service tomorrow at 8 am therefore the fun and sun is over with.

I have nothing of value to write about... but I hate to lose any, if that, followers I might have. Here are a few things I have to look forward to: football season, TN 10 Vaca to Florida Labor Day weekend, my sister's baby shower, my housewarming party, my new nephew being born, and many other precious babies being born!

I must say though that I love living by myself! =) I'm actually quite shocked about it really. I don't get scared, I haven't been lonely, and it's very quiet. It has nothing to do with anybody I've lived with, because they were all great roommates but I have a slight issue with control so it's great to know this house is all under my control. I guess I should enjoy it while I can, because it may not be like that forever.... or maybe it will? Oh yea... and I've learned that I can live with the temp. being like 78 which most people would sweat to death but I love it! Saving money!

If any of you pray for us teachers beginning school, I would covet those prayers! This is my 5th year teaching, and also my tenure year in the Bradley Cty. System. I gotta make it to April! I also have a fairly heavy load of responsibilities including Cheerleading, Reading Dept. Chair, and SGA Sponsor. I hope I didn't take on more than I should have... but knowing me, I did. =) I also hope to really continue to gain a positive reputation to allow me to be used of the Lord consistently and more openly than usual. I'm looking forward to see what He does through me!

Much love to all you teachers out there!

and don't forget the wedding in sept that you have to look forward to! I'm with you on the 78 degrees. I keep mine at 77 (I just like the number) and it feels just fine and I love my little electric bill! I definately have you on my teacher's prayer list. I was just talking to Jane Salyer about that today.. she's an awesome teacher in her 27 year or something like that.

OH yes Shirl! I knew I was missing a wedding in there! It's definitely added to the list!
