Some of my favorite people

One of my jobs here is to teach a class in the Learning Center. This session, we primarily teach English but we look forward to adding other genres such as Computer or Financial Management. I teach Beginner II which means my students know very little English. Rotha (pictured standing up) is my helpful, Khmer teacher who translates and often steps in when something needs extra explanation. I only have 7 students, who I love dearly, and I had them doing a sentence building activity in the pictures below.


































Here are my roommates! Last Saturday we went out for breakfast together at a friend's new restaurant. As you can see, we are enjoying our iced coffees. =)
Rachel is on the far left, she teaches at Hope International School. She just graduated from Lee and we also sang together in the First Baptist choir. Then Me. Then Amy-who is from Georgia and she fell in love with Cambodia on the World Race. She moved back here last July. And to the far right is Fionna, our favorite Aussie. ;) She also teaches at Hope School.
