8:00 am Left for Atlanta airport
10:30 am Arrive at Atlanta airport
12:30 pm Board plane to Seoul, Korea

.... 14 hours later....

4ish am Monday morning (still TN time) land in Seoul
6 am... now 5 p.m. Seoul time... leave for Phnom Penh, Cambodia

... 5 hours later...

land in Phnom Penh, 10 p.m. there time
11 p.m. arrive at hotel

Ohhh... the journey doesn't stop here kiddos. I slept about 3 hours total on the plane and our last plane ride was AWESOME because more than half of it was empty therefore everyone was able to spread out over 3 seats. oh no. But I still didn't sleep. (We flew Korean Air by the way, and it was probably the easiest overseas traveling I have ever done. Great airline!)

I fell asleep at 2:30 last night... and woke up at 5:30. It is now 7:20 here now. Yea.... you following me? 3 hours again and dear heavens I dread how tired I am going to feel by noon. yikes! Hence why I'm taking the time to blog now because I'm up and at 'em.

Here are some random happenings thus far:

1-Jake Stum has already made fun of me for using my hands so much when I talk therefore we might start doing some "sign language" for the trip.

2-My luggage was exactly 50 pounds! ha! How great is that!?!? I was so prepared to shift items into someone else's bag.

3-iPhones rock my world. I can use Wi-Fi, wherever it is, to get on facebook etc. I just can't have my cellular data turned on or I get charged like crazy. I feel that I will be in touch with all of you more than you would like!

4-Our group is Super laid back and fun. So far, so good. =) And I'm also glad to be reunited with an old friend, Stephen Burton who is leading the Mt. Paran group. Somehow I always find myself at summer camps with this guy???

We are headed to the Killing Fields and the prison today... and we get to top it off with a boat ride and some KAROAKE!!!!! woohooo!!!! These Cambodians have not experienced the excitement of this crazy American!!!!

From Southeast Asia, yours truly

So glad you are having fun! I am trying to explain to Dalen you are across the world. I've showed him a map and everything and I can just see the little wheels a'spinnin in his little head. Praying for energy!
