He did it... he reaaaaallly did it...

Now... you may be wondering why I am choosing to blog about someone ELSE'S proposal, but honestly, it's been such an exciting event!!! Michael told me in OCTOBER about this and my lips have been sealed!!! I have never had the honor to be included in an actual engagement, so I'm very honored that Michael wanted to include me.

I could go on and on about all the details and fun involved, but it would take forever! Let me just say this, I am totally impressed with Michael's details, thoughtfulness, and pure heart he put into this whole process. Everyone's engagement is so different depending on personalities and this fits them perfect. Michael flew in from New Jersey yesterday afternoon, and he had a lot of people help out in the whole process, but it definitely went on without a hitch! Our apartment was decorated with flowers and candles and when Katie came home from class... there he was! He also made her an awesome book through Publisher that has captured their whole dating experience. Afterwards, we all celebrated with food (including fondue! yum!) and a bunch of friends came over. Even our very best friend Lisa flew in all the way from Minnesota for the special event... Katie got a double surprise!

I'm going off just a few hours of sleep, because the wedding talk started right away last night. I love it though, and I'm so excited for the months ahead. And let me add this too... it's so fun to see someone so sweet and humble become the center of attention!!! Katie is always so good at putting the spotlight on someone else, and she deserves this special moment SOOO much. I'm glad SHE is finally getting what she deserves! Katie... milk it for all it's worth!
