Since returning to school from Christmas break, we have gotten a total of 4 "extra" days off school.
Day 1... severe flash flooding
Day 2... too "cold" outside
Day 3... snow and ice
Half day... snow
Half day.... severe wind
hahahahaha.... Luckily we have built in days, but seriously folks?! It's quite comical. In all truthfulness, probably the most legit day was the flooding day, because some roads were so bad headed towards our school people couldn't get there. But oh well... Yay Director of Schools Mr. McDaniel!

What's next? High pollen count day? I'm always happy for you teaching folk when these bizarre cancellations happen, but for the mama's and daddy's that must shift their schedules all around, it is a pain in the neck!
Could there have been a more beautiful afternoon that the high wind day???
