The family ventured to Nashville this past weekend to watch my cousin Whitney perform in her Senior Recital at Belmont for her Musical/Theatre major. Mom and I headed up there Thursday evening to meet Sarah, and we had a lovely dinner at the Cheesecake Factory! Oh how I miss that place! Then, I enjoyed the sales at Green Hills Mall Friday before the recital.
Whitney's recital was that night in the auditorium at Belmont, and she had quite a crowd! She had to create/write/perform an hour "show" where SHE was the main "show"! It was SOOOO great! Although she is my cousin, she is unbelievable!!! And to prove it....I have posted a few youtube links below for you to check out, because she is seriously one of the best I've heard! Little Jazz Bird is my FAVORITE! If she doesn't know it and I've never told her, Whitney-I'm SO very proud of you! You are living out such a fun dream!!! Watch out Broadway!
