PFCAL

Yes, that is me with the frizzy hair in 110 degree weather amidst the beautiful, happy Khmer children of Cambodia! People for Care and Learning... which yes, I am somewhat bias towards considering my uncle has the privilege to lead this fabulous group of "people", gave me the opportunity to visit Cambodia this past summer and it was truly a life changing experience. Being raised in a Christian home, and more specifically, in a minister's home, feeding the hungry and helping the poor is often preached down our throats. And also, for all of you who have experienced short term missions trips probably feel the same way I do when I return; you struggle in making words to describe how life-transforming it really is. I could write for days on my experiences with the Khmer of Cambodia and how I still think of it almost every day, but I'm going to give you the link so you can "visit" yourself. I am impressed, amazed, and encouraged to see how this non-government organization is changing lives in Cambodia... while sneaking in the Gospel at the same time. God is so good... www.pfcal.org
