1. Katie's wedding is T-10 days and I am PUMPED! Several of us have thrown 2 showers for her.... her personal and her Bridal tea.
2. We've had lots of fun and action at the pool... even celebrated gran's birthday at the pool.... with a little bit of cornhole as well. =)
3. We found out last week that my sister Sarah and bro-in-law Alex are having a BOY in November! Yay! We are definitely used to boys in the fam. ALSO, exciting news, Sarah had her big "match day" on the 17th for her Oncology residency and found out she is headed to Vanderbilt next year!! WAHOOO!!!! This is WONDERFUL news because this is as close to the family as she can get and still be able to do her Oncology residency. Not to mention, Vanderbilt is tough to get into so we are very proud of her. Yay for Nashville!
4. I'm holding out on house pictures because I really want to wait until I have it all done before I post before and afters. But, once again, super thankful for all the help moving in.
5. This past week my sister Rachel birthed precious Jones Wade Hicks! He was born Wednesday, June 24, and it was a fairly easy (as easy as it can get I suppose!) delivery. He is perfect and tiny and such a great baby! I helped her today so she can get adjusted to having all four while Eddie heads back to work. The big boys are precious to him too.
My summer is flying by, but I must say.... I have really enjoyed hanging out with some old friends and reliving lots of memories. I'm trying to make the time for it before school starts. Also, I have to admit as well that summer time really affects my spiritual "study" (aka Jesus time, God time, being in the prayer closet... whatever you choose to call it) so I am really going to have to make more of a conscious effort in that area. One of those seasons I suppose.... pray for me on that if you don't mind.
Hope to have more fun pics of the summer later!

June 24th is our anniversary :) And...do I see tennessee corn hole boards in the background of that pool picture????
Ugh, Yes. My cousin's husband is a big UT fan, and he made the set. My cousins playing in the picture though thought their hands might burn off... since they are from Kentucky. =) Just kidding.
Congrats on being an aunt again!! Just precious. I love the names she has picked for her kids. Adorable and unforgettable!
