Does it deserve a page in the newest design magazine?

(Probably not the most ideal post for men. I mean-unless you like decorating.)

Well here she is kids! My room! I mean-it's nothing fancy, but I know some of you are curious as to my living conditions and they are not bad. At. All.

This is my "closet". You can't really tell but my shoes are underneath and I am not sad at all about all of the shoes I brought. ha. To the left is my "dresser" and to the right is my "to do" list as well as some pics of my favorite people-my family. The pink bag hanging off the clothes rack is my laundry bag.

This is my very LARGE bed. It's a king... and clearly I don't need all of that space considering I barely move when I sleep, so the right side is my TV watching center-aka computers-and charging area. To the left is my night stand that was already here when I came so that is a blessing. This week I finally hung several encouraging notes above my bed. I LOVE plopping down after a long day and reading them all over again. It's amazing how much better they make me feel. Even though I've read them a million times. You might even see yours up there. ;) The light fixtures are atrocious, but I bought 2 new green silk ones to hang up eventually. And the right light fixture has a mosquito deterrent hanging from it. Momma sent a few in my luggage. =) The table to the right is my catch all for electronics, office and school supplies, and just whatever else.

Aren't the pink curtains lovely?!?! Eventually, I'm going to get custom made curtains which would make this room adorable. That little shelf is holding towels, books (the 10 that I brought) and my "warm" clothes on the bottom since they are rarely used. Thank heavens for command hooks! That's pretty much how I hang anything. And isn't that colorful calendar cute? A gift from my pal Shawn. I LOVE it.

My oh so awesome blow dryer and straightener, both purchased here in the Bode. Wasn't this clever as far as saving space? If you can't find regular Command hooks, the apple decorated stickies will have to do.

My "get ready" wall. That is my "vanity" there to the right which holds all of my make up etc. I also have more encouraging notes posted here. If you gave me a note at all, I kept it so it's probably up there. I finally got a clock which I have to have in my room. and Yes... there are "stick people" hanging above the mirror. That would be my awesome book club pals who made them for me to have. Ladies, I look at you EVERYDAY! I still need a long mirror here.

And lastly, the most important piece of the room... my aircon. It deserves a picture all by itself. You would be surprised the cold that thing pumps out.
