Where have all the men gone?

This is too funny not to share, even though I rarely dicuss my feelings/isues towards men.

Alright. So Cleveland is small but not realy that small. Suuurely there are some good men out there that I haven't met but then again, I haven't been proven right on that yet. ha.

I know us single folk have certain things that cross our minds when out in public when we see someone nice looking or somewhat charming. It takes a lot for a complete strange to catch my eye because I'm surely not one to approach a man in public, and no man has ever done that to me.

So, tonight at Wal-Mart, I see this guy walk in while I'm waiting in line... And he was soooo good-looking. Like "break my neck, I turned around about 3 times to watch him walk while saying WOW" good-looking. Now THAT usually never happens.

After that... I always go into my x-ray vision for the left hand and see if there is a ring. There was not. That has to be first priority for obvious reasons. BOO on married on men. Secondly, I look for a child. He didn't have one. And not that I wouldn't date a man with a child, but... well that's a whole other blog.

Ahhh, then he got what he needed and came back to get in line where I broke my neck again... and saw his beautiful blue eyes... ahhhhh, looooovely. and THEN... it hit me. I totally recognized him!!!! AAHHHHHHH!!!! And I don't really know his name but I think he's dating some girl at Lee or they're about to get married or something.

Anyways.... here is my point. I have had this happen a few times and it seems EVERY SINGLE TIME... I either KNOW the guy... or he is married! Sooooo frustrating! And honestly, I would NEVER approach a guy so I don't really know what it matters unless he just told me I was the woman of his dreams and he needed to take me out, as to which I would probably laugh, but still... that might be nice someday.

So tonight settles it. I have met every good looking man in Cleveland. I'm going to start buying my groceries at the Chattanooga Wal-Mart.

Oh Abby, you totally made my night. But I must say, you haven't met all of the good men in Cleveland if you haven't met my little brother. But on a lower note, he's probably to young for you- he's 19. I'll be praying for you and the mr. wonderful God has picked out for you, that maybe God can arrange it so you two will meet soon(er). Heehe. xo have a fabulous night/day :)
