In the past year, my teaching has taken a drastic curve with our new technology. We received stimulus money and with that came promethean boards, new teacher computers (that actually move fast) and document cameras. I've done this before but I wanted to show visuals of my classroom, and it has definitely changed a lot since last time.
This is from my viewpoint at my desk.
I have 2 computers for kids to use... and they are
as slow as molasses.
The tiny fridge is used by our whole team...
(us 5 teachers). That is my old computer
in the back about to get rolled off to "computer
lab heaven".
Here is my new snazzy promethean board!
(Yes, that's Pandora on there... I play it all
the time in my classroom.) These boards
are activated by pens... you can do way cool
things on them. We also got new, fancy projectors
too.
This was actually a piece of art
that the art class made for me. Our art
teacher let the kids pick a teacher to make
something for, and 2 girls picked me!
I love it!
haha. Isn't this a nightmare, or rather a fire,
waiting to happen?!?! With new technology
comes looooooots of wires!

How many students do you have in your classroom? As much as I love technology use I'd rather see smaller class sizes.
Your room is gigantic!
