A Few Favorites

I thought I would list a few of my most favorite things. I've been trying and experiencing some new things so here's a little update of my personal psyche. =)

Favorite Books... I'm reading a few right now. ha. No surprise there.
1-The Principle of the Path-an Andy Stanley book that Pastor Lockerman suggested and the concept is rather simple. Make sure you are on the right path that leads you to the destination you want to be at.
2-the new Francis Chan-The Forgotten God. It's about the Holy Spirit and thus far, it's fabulous. He is one of the best communicators ever.
3-Same Kind of Different as Me. It's our book club book for the month and it's very very good. It's basically a story of a rich guy and poor guy and how their lives cross. I LOVE those reads.
4-Just started a good, professional, educational read called When Kids Cant Read. I like to read something in the summer to encourage me before the new school year starts so I'm getting a jump start on this one.

Favorite Foods... I'm on an extreme journey to find a healthy way to eat for the rest of my life, not just for now. It's actually quite fun to try out new things.
1-Guacamole. yuuummmm. =) I've had it before but have started to make it a lot. It's a good fat we're allowed to eat. =)
2-Rice cakes. Quaker makes these awesome caramel corn flavored ones and they keep me quite full.
3-Weight Watcher snacks. ahhhh, I love that they are tasty and low fat.
4-Morning Star Veggie burgers. They are so flavorful and healthy. Good stuff.

Favorite "Stuff"...
1. Running. Even amidst the injury I still think every single day of how great it will be to run again. I'm excited.
2. Gardening etc. I plan to plant some flowers rather soon and I've already planted some herbs that sit in my window. I don't really know if I'm doing things correctly but I'll guess we'll see in a few weeks.
