Living Room

My living room was the first room painted. I chose a neutral color, and I wanted it to be khaki. It is somewhat khaki.... with a little green in it, which is just "eh" for me. We got this room and the hall painted fairly quickly!

Everything was pretty much transferred from the apartment to the house. Katie gave me a lot since her and Michael had other things together. Somehow... everything just flows together even though it came from different places. My faux shag rag is from Ikea and the coffee table too. The black lamp to the right was an old gold thing that I spray painted and got a new shade for. The red and black pillows were all re-covered by Bernadette Douglas a few years ago, and I still love them!

My TV is HUGE... and I wish I had a flat screen. But, I'm super grateful for Justin Bunch since he gave it to me last year.... yes, gave. =) My DVD/Friends holder is pretty pitiful-I need something a little more sturdy. And, of course, thanks to Lindsay Sluder for making my cute "Abby" collage on the wall by the door.

Anndd... my curtains are a mix of Big Lots and Target.... or maybe Wal-Mart? Either way, I love having RED! On the coffee tables are some old scrapbooks and photo albums which are always great conversation starters.
