Tonight I went to Arise where Megan and Mario Hood lead a new group of young adults. I love hearing Mario speak and I truly think he is very gifted. All of his message was great, but there was one teensy part that stuck to me like glue.
He talked about prayer and how easy it is for us to say in quick passing that we're going to pray for each other or pray for specific need and then we DON'T do it! About a year and a half ago I was extremely convicted of this behavior and decided I wasn't going to do it anymore. If I was going to tell someone that I would pray for them then my heavens I was going to remember or write it down and actually DO IT! It may not have been an hour long prayer meeting but I was NOT going to neglect that responsibility.
So, I decided to do something tonight. Some may think this is terribly inappropriate but I need to do it. I have looked back throughout my journals to the beginning of last year. I am going to list several of the things and people I have written down and prayed for. I want people to know that I am very commited to praying for them. I want people to know that they can count on me and I hope that maybe this will open doors for some of you to ask me to pray for you, because I really want to.
AND-I hope you might see some names or situations where the Lord has completely answered that prayer. I hope this brings joy and testimony to some of you. I'm not going to get terribly specific due to respect for others. Some of you may be surprised! Many of these were in my journal for months at a time. Ok... here goes...
Norm, Union Univ., Blake's dad, Jessica's dad, Rachel's neck, school board, mom's eyes, my legs, Holly, John, Paula, jobs, Arhmin, Steve, Kevin, Marissa, Ella, Sarah, Alex, LFMS, teachers, students, cheerleaders, apartment, Katie, my future, my vision, Lindsay, Craig, Tricia, Laura, Free Chapel, a2 Church, Meagan, my heart, Hugh, Nona, Heather, all of TN 10, my dad, Susie, Tommy, Ryan, election, Megan's grandpa, Mike, Zack, Cambodia, Fred, Shirley, Meredith, Shauna, Joe, Cameron, Brad, Gran, Papaw, Hannah, Jeremy, the Evans, Megan, Mario, Iraq, Erica, Chris, Shawn, Lance, Anna, Rachel, Edward, Fletcher, Winston, Harper, new year, my husband, Obamas, family, my mom, Kristie, Kim, Michael, Kristen....
Alright-not everything or specifics are listed but Whew... I love looking at this list though and seeing the miracles that have already taken place. I realize this is pretty personal, but oh well. I love people. :o)

YOu have no idea what it means to see our names on that list. Thanks for being faithful & considerate enough to remember those you love! So glad I have gotten to see you 3 times in the last 2 weeks! WAHOO!
That may have been one of the sweetest things I've ever read. I'm having a hard time keeping back tears. It overwhelmed me to see all the names of my family on that list. So blessed to have you as my sister. I love you dearly.
I was truly touched to see my name on your list. I dont think I have ever actually "asked" you to pray for us when we travel etc... but I am once again amazed at what a sweet wonderful person you are!
