Ra Ra!

I realized I haven't been on here much lately this week, so sorry about that! Not quite sure what I've been doing, but here at the end of the year, we have A LOT going on at school.

Some of the roughest is now behind me. We had cheerleading try-outs this week and the official try-out was yesterday. I was at the school until 7:30.... ra ra! I HATE this day, because I posted the squads (yes... 2 squads-Varsity and JV... we had over 50 girls try out!) on the gym doors, and of course, the anxious little rising 6th graders are there anticipating the moment. I posted them as quick as possible and jetted out of there! I couldn't handle seeing little girls cry! Sooo... the fun has begun! We start practice and fundraisers in May. The scary part is that I have 2 squads right now (a total of 29 girls) and I NEED desperately another coach to take on the JV girls.

Although I don't teach at DCA anymore, here's a pic in honor of my old squad who I miss dearly! I know my girls at LF will be just as wonderful!
