Sunday feedings

A few Sundays ago I was able to share the Word (I feel that using the word "preach" would be a little misleading!) at the Children's Home. Kids from the community always come and there is quite a large crowd! They split the older and younger children so I talked to the older kids which was refreshing and fun all at the same time!

Each Sunday, after the service, the Children's Home provides a meal for the the kids in the community. I've heard about this for quite sometime but I LOVED watching this in action! It's a simple, kind gesture but there were so many interesting facets to it. I especially loved that the PCL children in the Children's Home were the ones serving the kids from the community-most of which live in great poverty. Not only is PCL taking care of children... it is raising them up to be like Christ in serving those around them. It seems like something easy to grasp, but wow... it opened my eyes to so many things.
