Can't Complain...

Since last, I have had a fun vacation with friends, received a day out of school due to flash flooding, and had several friends give birth to beautiful babies! It's been a fun few weeks! OH! And.... my brother in law is home from Iraq!!!!! YAYYYYY!!!!

My precious girlfriends (from college) and I had our annual vacation in Chattanooga this year, mainly due to the few pregnant girls who can't travel far because their due date is so near. This was our fifth annual vaca and they get better every year! We went to a cabin on Nickajack Lake and had fun boating, going to Coolidge Park, eating downtown and playing ridiculously fun games with all of the hubbies. It was all highly entertaining. =) And the kiddos are making things so much more exciting!

We left the cabin last Monday, Labor Day, which was when the remnants of tropical storm Lee decided to drop a record amount of rain on Cleveland and Chattanooga. The flash flooding was ridiculous so we were out of school Tuesday. It was the most rain EVER in one day-I think over 10 inches. Even Chattanooga made national news. One extreme to the other-drought to flood!

I also would like to share that several of my friends have had their babies and I have more to look forward to! Little Cooper was born a few weeks ago... as well as Samuel (who is far away but I skyped with him!)... and Emma Claire arrived last Friday night! I met Cooper and EC yesterday and they are the softest, best smelling things ever. =) Praise the Lord for healthy babies and safe deliveries.

As far as Cambodia goes, I have several things in the works and I'm trying to create a fundraising plan. I've started my excel spreasheet with all necessary columns that relate to life. Are you surprised? =) Of course not. It's already a fun journey and I know it's going to keep getting better...

Things to come or look forward to: Other babies being born that I can't wait to hold, fall break (ha!), sweatshirt weather, my Cambodia yard sale and the grand Fall Party.
